Professionals & Referrers
Precision Neuro Clinic welcomes enquiries from healthcare professionals, educational settings and organisations seeking information about our ADHD and autism assessment services for children aged six and above, young people and adults.
Referral pathway
How the enquiry process works
Each enquiry is reviewed individually. The steps below explain what to expect from an initial conversation through to assessment and reporting.
- 1
Step 1: Contact our referral team
Email our referral team to enquire about an ADHD, autism or combined assessment. An initial enquiry helps us understand what information you need and does not itself confirm that a referral can be accepted.
- 2
Step 2: Provide initial information
To help us discuss the enquiry, please include the individual’s age, the assessment type being considered and the reason for referral, where appropriate. Please avoid sending identifiable or detailed clinical information by ordinary email.
- 3
Step 3: Referral enquiry review
Our team will review the enquiry and advise on the relevant pathway, requirements, fees and appointment availability. An enquiry does not automatically confirm acceptance of a referral or guarantee an appointment.
- 4
Step 4: Supporting information
Where appropriate, we may request additional information or documentation to help clarify the enquiry and determine suitable next steps. We will explain how to share any clinical or sensitive information securely.
- 5
Step 5: Confirm next steps
Our team will guide the referrer through the next stages, including any required documentation, consent arrangements and booking procedures. We will confirm what is needed before an assessment can be arranged.
- 6
Step 6: Assessment and reporting
If an assessment proceeds, the relevant pathway will be explained in advance. Following assessment, reporting and any appropriate communication with the individual’s GP will be discussed and handled with the necessary consent.
Please do not include patient-identifiable details or clinical records in an initial email. Any sharing of clinical information or supporting documents will be arranged through appropriate secure channels and with suitable consent.
